History! China has become the first country in the world where the ownership of new energy vehicles has exceeded 10 million units.
A few days ago, the Ministry of Public Security data show that the current domestic ownership of new energy vehicles has exceeded the 10 million mark, reaching 10.1 million, accounting for 3.23% of the total number of vehicles.
The data shows that the number of pure electric vehicles is 8.104 million, accounting for 80.93% of the total number of new energy vehicles. It is not difficult to find that in the current car market, although fuel cars are still the main market, but the growth rate of new energy vehicles is very fast, has achieved a breakthrough of 0 ~ 10 million. At present, almost all domestic car companies have opened the transformation of electrification, and several heavyweight new energy vehicles, plug-in hybrids and hybrids are ready to be launched. On the other hand, domestic consumers' acceptance of new energy vehicles is also increasing, and many consumers will take the initiative to buy new energy vehicles. With the increase of new models and consumer acceptance of new energy vehicles, the ownership of new energy vehicles is bound to grow further and reach new milestones. The number of domestic new energy vehicles will obviously grow faster from 10 million units to 100 million units.
In the first half of 2022, despite the impact of the epidemic, car sales in Shanghai hit the bottom, but the number of newly registered new energy vehicles in China still reached a record high of 2.209 million units. For comparison, in the first half of 2021, the number of new energy vehicles registered in China was only 1.106 million, which means that the number of new energy vehicles registered in the first half of this year increased by 100.26%, a direct multiplier. More importantly, new energy vehicle registrations accounted for 19.9% of the total number of vehicle registrations.
This means that one out of every five consumers who buy a car chooses a new energy vehicle, and this figure is expected to grow further. This reflects the reality that domestic users are becoming more and more accepting of new energy vehicles, and that new energy vehicles have become an important reference factor for consumers when buying a new car. Because of this, domestic sales of new energy vehicles have grown rapidly, surpassing the 10 million mark in just a few years.
