Overview of the Dutch Electric Vehicle Market:

The world is witnessing a rapid transition from conventional internal combustion engine vehicles to new energy electric vehicles (EVs) and battery storage systems. By 2040, new energy vehicles and battery storage systems are expected to account for more than half of global new car sales. The Netherlands is at the forefront of this shift and is one of the leading markets for EVs and battery storage. Since 2016, when the Netherlands began discussing a ban on fuel-efficient vehicles, the market share of EVs and battery storage has surged from 6% in 2018 to 25% in 2020. The Netherlands aims to achieve zero emissions from all new cars by 2030.

In 2015, Dutch leaders agreed that all buses (about 5,000) should be zero-emission by 2030. Amsterdam serves as a model for the gradual transition to electric public transportation in urban areas. Schiphol Airport incorporated a large fleet of Tesla cabs in 2014 and now operates 100% electric cabs. In 2018, bus operator Connexxion purchased 200 electric buses for its fleet, making it one of the largest electric bus operators in Europe.

Injet New Energy's participation in the Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo 2024 not only showcased its advanced charging solutions but also highlighted its commitment to supporting the global shift towards sustainable energy. The positive reception from visitors reinforces Injet's position as a leader in the EV charging industry and its dedication to innovation and excellence.
