Guangzhou, China – From October 15th to 19th, the eagerly anticipated 134th China Import and Export Fair, widely known as the Canton Fair, will open its doors at the China Import and Export Fair exhibition hall in Guangzhou. Chu Shijia, director of the China Foreign Trade Center, is optimistic about the fair’s international reach. “Judging from the pre-registration numbers,” he said, “overseas buyers are showing tremendous enthusiasm, hailing from a wide range of countries and regions. We anticipate a significant increase in attendance compared to the 133rd Canton Fair.” As of September 27, buyers from 215 countries and regions have already pre-registered—an impressive 23.5% surge from the previous edition. Notably, more than 100 leading multinational companies have confirmed their participation, promising to boost industry confidence, facilitate new business relationships, secure orders, and expand the international market. This demonstrates the Canton Fair’s pivotal role in maintaining a stable foreign trade ecosystem and promoting an optimal trade structure.
